Welcome to RunLingua. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RunLingua's applications (iOS, watchOS, macOS), website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by RunLingua Team ("we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading our applications, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Account Responsibilities
When you create an account with us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information.
- Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
- Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Not create more than one account per person.
- Not transfer or share your account with any other person.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.
3. Subscription and Payment Terms
3.1 Subscription Plans
RunLingua offers subscription-based access to premium features. Subscriptions are available as auto-renewable plans (monthly or annual) through Apple's App Store.
3.2 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings.
3.3 Free Trials
If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.
3.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your agreement to pay the updated amount.
3.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
4. Token System
RunLingua uses a token-based system for certain AI-powered features, including audio processing and advanced translations.
- Token allocation -- Tokens are included with your subscription plan and may also be available for individual purchase.
- Token consumption -- Tokens are consumed when you use AI-powered features such as audio lesson generation, advanced translations, and content processing.
- Non-refundable -- Consumed tokens are non-refundable. Unused tokens included in a subscription do not roll over to the next billing period unless explicitly stated.
- Token balance -- You can view your current token balance within the app.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service, including audio files and other materials ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
5.2 Content Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and use the content.
- Your content does not infringe on the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
- Your content does not contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable material.
5.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content (excluding User Content), features, functionality, design, and underlying technology, is and remains the exclusive property of RunLingua Team and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
- The RunLingua name, logo, and all related names, logos, and slogans are trademarks of RunLingua Team.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our express written permission.
- Official language learning content provided within the app is licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the Service.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any usage limits, token restrictions, or security measures.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Upload content that infringes on copyrights or intellectual property rights of others.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
- We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translations, language lessons, or AI-generated content.
- In no event shall RunLingua Team be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.
- Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RunLingua Team and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
- By you -- You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the app settings or by contacting us at support@runlingua.com.
- By us -- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms.
- Effect of termination -- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
If we terminate your account due to a violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or by sending you a notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were last revised.
Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement -- These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RunLingua Team regarding the Service.
- Severability -- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Waiver -- Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be considered a waiver of those rights.
- Assignment -- You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

3.2 自动续订
- 除非在当前计费周期结束前至少 24 小时取消，否则订阅将自动续订。
- 您的 Apple ID 账户将在当前周期结束前 24 小时内被收取续订费用。

3.3 免费试用
如果我们提供免费试用，您在试用期内不会被收费。如果您在试用结束前未取消，您的订阅将自动开始，并将收取适用的订阅费用。
3.4 价格变更

3.5 退款

4. Token 系统
RunLingua 使用基于 Token 的系统来支持某些 AI 驱动的功能，包括音频处理和高级翻译。
- Token 分配 -- Token 包含在您的订阅计划中，也可能支持单独购买。
- Token 消耗 -- 当您使用 AI 驱动的功能（如音频课程生成、高级翻译和内容处理）时，将消耗 Token。
- 不可退款 -- 已消耗的 Token 不可退款。除非另有明确说明，订阅中包含的未使用 Token 不会结转到下一个计费周期。

5. 用户生成内容
5.1 您的内容
您保留上传到服务的内容的所有权，包括音频文件和其他材料（以下简称"用户内容"）。通过上传用户内容，您授予我们非独占性、全球性、免版税的许可，仅用于提供和改进服务的目的来使用、处理、存储和展示您的用户内容。
5.2 内容责任

6. 知识产权

- RunLingua 名称、标志及所有相关名称、标志和标语均为 RunLingua Team 的商标。

7. 禁止使用
您同意不使用本服务：

- 干扰或破坏服务或连接到服务的服务器或网络。

8. 责任限制

- 本服务按"现状"和"可用"基础提供，不提供任何明示或暗示的保证。
- 我们不保证服务不会中断、无错误或不含有害成分。
- 我们不保证任何翻译、语言课程或 AI 生成内容的准确性、完整性或可靠性。
- 在任何情况下，RunLingua Team 均不对任何间接、附带、特殊、后果性或惩罚性损害承担责任，包括但不限于利润、数据、使用或商誉损失。
- 我们对因服务产生或与服务相关的所有索赔的总赔偿责任不超过您在索赔前十二（12）个月内向我们支付的金额。
某些司法管辖区不允许排除或限制某些保证或责任。在此类司法管辖区，我们的责任将限于法律允许的最大范围。
9. 赔偿

10. 终止
